California Penal Code Section 3058.65 states that spouses, parents, and siblings of an offender convicted of child abuse, any sex offense against a minor or domestic violence have the right to be notified of an offender’s release.  When requesting a registration for notification of an offender in state prison, only the spouse, parents, and siblings of the offender are allowed to request a registration for services and information about an offender in state prison.  Unauthorized access, misuse, and attempts to change information on this website are strictly prohibited and may subject you to criminal prosecution and/ or civil liability.  If you are not a spouse, parent, or sibling and you are looking for information about an offender in state prison, please go to inmatelocator.cdcr.ca.gov.  The information required on this form is necessary to process your request for services and information.  Failure to provide any of the information requested may prevent the Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services from processing your request.  You also may be contacted and asked to submit further supporting documentation to validate your relationship with the offender.  Your request for services and information about an offender in a state prison is subject to review and will be either approved or denied by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services.
